Dear Friend of CMLC,
Our mountains need your help!
Whether it's leading hikes, helping out in the office, or pulling invasive plants from Lewis Creek Nature Park, there is a volunteer role for you at CMLC!Volunteers are the heart of any non-profit. Sometimes, they are the very building blocks of the organization. This is the case with Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy, an organization sprung entirely from the effort and vision of volunteers. Their founding contribution serves as a powerful reminder of the vital and ongoing importance volunteers have to CMLC.
Volunteers are essential to CMLC. As a volunteer, not only do you help alleviate pressure from busy workloads, but you also create and nourish the roots we have in our local community. Through your volunteer efforts, we invite the community into our organization, and legitimize the work we do beyond the walls of the office.
