*Urgent Needs*
CMLC is looking for volunteers to help support the front desk in our new facility in Hendersonville and assist with some other administrative duties as they arise. Volunteer responsibilities would include:
- Answer and route phone calls
- Greet guests
- Light paperwork
- Able to devote 2-3 hours per day at least once a week
- In the Office
- Bulk Mailings
- Thank you notes
- Copying
- Putting together project folders
- Putting together packets of information
- Database entry
- Outreach
- Coordinate presentations with local civic, church, and community organizations
- Give CMLC presentations in the community. Speak publicly for CMLC!
- Represent CMLC at community events by tabling
- Work with staff to organize materials for presentation or display.
- Call lapsed members about renewing their membership with the organization
- Stewardship
- Trail building and maintenance
- Invasive species removal
- Stewardship assistants- help monitor protected land
- Wildlife monitoring
- Committees
- Hike Committee: Assist in developing our monthly hike program. Plan and coordinate monthly hikes, including scouting, and leading.
- Events Committee: Help plan CMLC events such as our annual meeting and Conservation Celebration.

- Bake/cook items for events
- Host a CMLC-themed house party for your friends and family
- Help decorate
