10th Annual Conservation Celebration
Concert at the Cove
Sunday October 17th
2pm at Fire Fly Cove in Lake Lure.
You’ll be surrounded by majestic mountains, wrapped by gentle harbor breezes, inspired by homegrown music and invigorated by the company of fellow conservation supporters, and it’s all happening on the famous stage of Lake Lure’s “Dirty Dancing” cove. Don’t miss this outstanding celebration of CMLC’s most successful year ever!!
This is a family-friendly concert event! Seats are provided; however feel free to bring a picnic blanket or lounge chair, and make yourself comfortable as you enjoy an autumn afternoon by the lake.
The Concert at the Cove event features:
Guided pre-celebration hikes and kayaking around scenic Lake Lure
Live concert by the Pisgah Pickers (featuring Woody Platt and other members of the Steep Canyon Rangers)
Picnic cuisine provided by Larkin’s on the Lake
Concert at the Cove raffle and live auction (items available for preview soon!)
