Join CMLC for an Afternoon Southern Appalachian Bog Tour - Wednesday, June 1st
Date of this event: Wednesday, June 1, 2016 - 6:00pm
Join us after work on Wednesday, June 1st, to check out a CMLC protected Southern Appalachian mountain bog in Flat Rock. This tour will be led by David Lee, CMLC's Natural Resources Manager and special guest Anita Goetz of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn about the Southern Appalachian mountain bog habitat and get to know this particular property!
This hike will be for CMLC members only. If you are not already a member with us, learn about the benefits of membership and join us here--we would love to have you on this special tour and get to show you one of the incredible sites we have protected. Due to the sensitivity of the mountain bog environment, there will be a cap of 10 guests allowed on this tour. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis using CMLC's Online Hike Sign-Up Form. Additional information will be sent upon confirmation fo your spot on the hike within 1-3 business days after requesting a spot.
For questions, contact CMLC Community Outreach Associate Corinne Fretwell at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the event of inclement weather, please call our office at (828) 697-5777 to learn about a hike cancellation.
